UEFA Champions League’s group H was going to finish yesterday, but the match between Paris Saint-Germain and Istanbul Basaksehir was suspended after Pierre Webó claimed to be called with a racial slur from the fourth official Sebastian Coltescu. Both teams agreed to leave the pitch and now UEFA decided what is going to happen.

In an official communicate, the European soccer body opened a disciplinary file and will call the involved people to listen to both sides of the story and make a final decision, so if somebody will be sanctioned, it will not be known in a short time. Then UEFA proceeded to communicate it decision about the match, suspended in 14th minute.

They decided the match will be resumed today, at 17:55 GMT. The novelty is the referee body will be completely renewed, accepting Istanbul’s request of not continuing the match with Coltescu. Until the suspension, the game was 0-0 and the Turkish side had two players with a yellow card.

PSG needs to win to finish the group H as leaders. If that does not happen, they will be in RO 16 anyway after Manchester United defeat vs. RB Leipzig, but they will face a group winner in that round. Meanwhile, Istanbul is already eliminated, so the final result will have no effect in their future.
