Treason! Jürgen Damm confessed were he dreamed to play in Liga MX and it's not Tigres UANL

The Atlanta United midfielder defended the shirt of Tigres UANL for 5 years and became a much beloved player in the Mexican club, at least until now. Jurgen Damm admitted that while he has a special fondness for Tigres, he would like to play in one of the 'Big Four' clubs of Liga MX.

Former Tigres Uanl said that he would have no problem in playing for America, which caused great discomfort in the fans of the team coached by Tuca Ferretti. Why? Because in recent years America has become a direct rival in Mexican and international soccer for Tigres. He not only provoked the anger of the Tigres fans, but also of the Pachuca fans, where he played before joining the Felinos.

In an interview Jurgen Damm said that America is a big and popular team and that any Mexican player would like to play there. Despite having a past involved with Tigres UANL, he wants to have the opportunity to play for a team like America. He also said that there is only one shirt he would never wear: the shirt of Rayados de Monterrey, his traditional rival of Tigres.

Jurgen Damm played during his five years at Tigres and won 7 titles. He won 4 Liga MX trophies (2015, 2016, 2017, 2019) and 3 Campeón De Campeones trophies (2016, 2017, 2018). Damm arrived at Tigres in July 2015 from Pachuca in exchange for almost 9 million dollars to play the Copa Libertadores. In that tournament, they reached the final and lost against River Plate. In July 2020, he moved to Atlanta United in the MLS.
