Tigres, the team coached by Ricardo Tuca Ferreti, will wear a new jersey for next Sunday's game against America at the Azteca Stadium.

Tigres UANL will dress up and wear a new outfit in the match against America for week 16 of the Liga MX on Sunday, November 1. It is a special shirt due to the 60th anniversary of the Nuevo León team, which was presented in December of last year but has not yet been used in any game. "We return to Azteca Stadium and we do it in a gala!", the institution highlighted in social media.

Against America, Tigres will try to repeat the result of the last time they played at the Azteca Stadium, for week 14 of the Liga MX, when they defeated Cruz Azul 2-0. After drawing against FC Juárez on the last week, Tigres has the obligation to beat Las Aguilas if they want to continue with chances of qualifying directly to the quarterfinals of the final phase.

This Sunday's duel may be key for the remaining 3 spots to be defined for the direct qualification to the quarterfinals of the final phase, since at the top of the Liga MX Leon has 36 points and has already classified for that instance two weeks in advance. Behind Leon there are five teams for 3 spots. Cruz Azul has 29 points, Pumas and América has 28, Tigres has 27 and Rayados de Monterrey has 26.

Although it is only an anecdote, Tigres don't have the best memories of the last time they played in a black jersey. In February 2009 at the Estadio Universitario El Volcán, Tigres stadium, the Felinos received the visit from América while wearing a black jersey. That night América won the game 3-2.
