They consider him the new Carlos Vela, and he is the best at Chivas: look at how much he would leave after his sale to Europe

Chivas are still looking to someone who can overcame Carlos Vela’s figure. The Mexican legend was formed at the club but left very early, almost 15 years ago to play in Europe, and never came back. Even though his comeback is still a dream for the fans, they know that it is hard to think on his return.

During all these years, Chivas has been working to form a new Carlos Vela. Despite there existed other good players at the club, no one seems to occupy his figure. After several years, there is a top player at the Mexican side now that may have a bright future, we don’t know yet as if Vela, but maybe similar.

He is Alexis Vega, the top attacker who has been one of the best players of the team coached by Víctor Vucetich so far. He is just 22 years old and, even he may have a lot to improve, his numbers show already that he will do great in the future. On January 2019, Vega arrived Chivas after a transfer from Toluca that costed the club $6 million.

Chivas couldn’t do that good these season and will finish Guar1anes regular season off the first four places for sure. But Vega had some very promising appearances, playing 11 matches, giving five assists and scoring one goal. After 56 games played for Chivas, the club may think that he won’t stay forever and his departure could leave a fortune for them.
