They called him the new Messi, he played for FC Barcelona and now he will end up failing at this club

There are many soccer players who were compared to Lionel Messi during their professional careers, but none of them could arrive to the level of the Argentine legend. The Spanish press intended to find one day someone as him, but that was almost impossible as nobody had his skills and conditions.

One of those players called the new Messi played for FC Barcelona and even shared the attacking zone with him. He is Bojan Krkic, who was formed in La Masía and had his chance at Barça. At first, it was said that he was going to replace Messi, as he had a similar physical aspect.

But things ended different for the Spanish attacker. After many years at Barcelona, the Catalan side decided to sell him to AS Roma in 2011 and since then he played for AC Milan, AS Roma, Ajax, Stoke City, Maguncia, Deportivo Alavés and Montreal Impact. During the start of 2021 he ended his contract with the MLS franchise and is now a free agent.

Bojan is looking for a club to play at and the Spanish press reported that he wants to go back to his country. But there are not many clubs interested him nowadays, and he could only have options to play in LaLiga SmartBank, in the Second division. There, he is being chased by UD Las Palmas and CD Tenerife.
