The professional career from Carlos Vela took him far away from Liga MX many years ago. He was born at Cancún and formed at Chivas, but he left the Rebaño Sagrado on January 2006. Since then, he spent his hole career playing outside his country: Arsenal, Celta de Vigo, UD Salamanca, CA Osasuna, West Bromwich, Real Sociedad and LAFC.

During the last hours it was revealed that Vela renewed his contract with LAFC for another year, to continue being one of the best paid players in the MLS. At the age of 31 it is hard to think that he will be returning to Mexico one day, but on social media it was said that he may be doing.

With a reported value of $15 million, according to specialized website Transfermarkt, Vela was linked to Rayados Monterrey. As he has just renewed his contract, we may think that if such a thing happens it will take place next year, after his recently signed contract expires.

Vela is not a passionate for soccer, so we may think that he won’t be playing until very old. On January 2018 he arrived to the MLS side from Real Sociedad and since then he played 77 matches, scored 59 goals and gave 25 assists. Despite everyone may think that if he returned to Liga MX it was going to play at Chivas, now there are some chances for him doing it for Monterrey.
