Juventus will be a team doing various transactions during the next transfer window, as the Italian press has already reported that Andrea Pirlo is looking forward to making some signings for his team. One of the places in which he wants a new player at is the attacking zone, where he thinks he needs someone to accompany Cristiano Ronaldo.

The forward that Pirlo is trying to convince moving to Juventus is a top-quality striker: Olivier Giroud. With 34 years old, the French is still at Chelsea, but his contract with the Premier League side will end on June 2021, which means that he is already capable of negotiating his departure as a free agent if he wanted to.

Giroud has played for Chelsea since January 2018, when he arrived from Arsenal for $20 million. Previously, he also played for Grenoble former side, FC Istres, Tours FC and Montpellier. After all this experience, Frank Lampard thinks that the no. 9 doesn’t reunite the conditions he would like to and that is the reason why he doesn’t make him play as much as the attacker wants.

The actual reported value of Giroud arrives to $5 million, despite the chances of him moving for free are very high. On Chelsea he has already played 103 matches, scoring 37 goals and giving 14 assists. With such numbers, he could be a good complement with CR7 and help the Portuguese and the Italian team conquer great objectives.
