The team that can spend a fortune to reunite Lionel Messi with Pep Guardiola and it's not Manchester City

Lionel Messi has revolutionized FC Barcelona. After his public decision of leaving during the last transfer window, the club has transformed itself. Just a bunch of months later, president Josep María Bartomeu, the Argentinian enemy is his intention to leave, announced his departure.

With Ronald Koeman just arrived, we may now think that the head coach could change soon, as Bartomeu, the one who brought the Netherlands trainer, has left. Rumors point out that Pep Guardiola is the favorite coach of Victor Font, Barcelona's candidate to president after Bartomeu.

Guardiola, actually at Manchester City, was asked about the situation and said that his intention is to stay at the English club. His contract remains until June 2021, but his desire of being Messi's coach for the last time may change the panorama. Pep earns more than $2 million per month and Barça would have hard to equalize that number.
