The star from PSG and friend of Neymar that FC Barcelona wants to take with Lionel Messi

FC Barcelona are looking for players that they could sign in the next transfer window to make the team performance improve soon. After an historical defeat against Bayern Munich at the Champions League, the club is still under transformation, since the departure of ex-president Josep María Bartomeu.

The future of Lionel Messi is also a mystery, as the Argentinian legend was set to leave during the last transfer window and has a contract remaining until June 2021 now. But as Barcelona wants him to stay, they are thinking on all type of possible signings they could make to form a competitive team.

One of those pointed out by Barcelona is Marquinhos. The midfielder, also central defender, is playing at Paris Saint-Germain since July 2013, where he has transformed himself into one of Neymar biggest allies. The Brazilian has a contract remaining until June 2024, but Barcelona want to make the try anyway.

The Catalan side wants to seduce him with the option of playing with Messi, something that in fact they can’t assure. At the age of 26, Marquinhos has played for Corinthians former club, AS Roma and PSG. Since his arrival to the French team he played 292 matches, scoring 26 goals and giving 7 assists.
