Chivas had an awful season in which they lost a lot of games and didn’t achieve to enter to the top four in tournament Guard1nes. Head coach Víctor Vucetich and sport adviser Ricardo Peláez weren’t able to control the problems that occurred, neither in the field nor outside it.
As if the results weren’t bad enough the Rebaño Sagrado, as the club is known, suffered many problems as their players disobeyed the rules. Alexis Vega, Dieter Villalpando, José Juan Vázquez, Alexis Peña, Eduardo López and Cristian Calderón are some of those who disrespected the norms.
After all the problems generated, Alexis Vega finally explained the reasons why so many players are undisciplined at the team. The attacker said that when being a young player there are many temptations at Guadalajara, at the city, the atmosphere and the club that make things difficult for them to control.
Chivas are now at the eighth position on Liga MX and when one match remaining, they have no chances to enter to the positions that will lead them to the playoffs zone. Against Monterrey on November 7 the team coached by Vucetich will be playing its last game of the regular season.
