Chivas are already looking forward to the next season. Previously, they will have a key game, against Necaxa this Saturday at the repêchage of tournament Guard1anes. The team coached by Víctor Vucetich ended seventh on the league, after earning 26 points on 17 matches played and will have to play this previous round first.

But Chivas aim higher and that is why they are working hard to achieve better results during the next season. Both Vucetich and sport adviser Ricardo Peláez are working on who could be the signing for the next campaign and, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the crisis, those could be players arriving for free.

One of them is Gael Sandoval, the attacker aged 25 who is currently on a loan at Santos Laguna and will go back to the Rebaño Sagrado after the end of the actual competition. Even though the club was thinking on sending him on a loan once again, Vucetich wants to give him another chance with the first team.

Sandoval was formed at Tecos and made them also played for Santos Laguna, FC Juárez and Chivas. With 25 years old, he played 13 matches on tournament Guard1anes, scoring three goals. At his time at Chivas he played 55 games, scored five goals and gave six assists.
