The arrival of Luis Suarez would have made Thomas Lemar make the decision to want to be transferred from Atletico de Madrid as he would consider that he has no place in the team. Both players play in the same position and today Lemar would be behind Suarez and Diego Costa, making him the third substitute.
Bayer Munich, who quickly noticed the discomfort of the player in his current team, contacted Atletico de Madrid to sign Lemar. It is a risky move by the German team as the striker comes from having a very bad last season, where although he got some assists he could not score any goals, something very important for a forward.
The offer that Bayer would have made would be to have the player on loan and not acquire 100% of him. This is the main problem that keeps Lemar away from his new team as Atletico would not be interested in giving him up but in selling him, so Bayer will have to risk investing an interesting sum of money in a very young player but with a bad present.
Lemar's youth is a plus in his career to become a star player. Although the last few months have not been the best, the forward has managed to earn a place in the team coached by Diego Simeone. It only remains to hope that the two clubs agree and Lemar move all his quality as a footballer to Germany.
