Manchester United completed a top-class transfer window in which they signed one of the most wanted players from the market: Edinson Cavani. The Uruguayan striker arrived as a free agent, after his departure from Paris Saint-Germain lately this year. But, despite what the majority thought, Cavani won't be playing soon.

Manchester United are going to make their debut on the Champions League season when facing PSG on Paris on Tuesday night. But Cavani won't be there, as head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer decided to let him out of the plane that traveled to the French capital with the Red Devils players.

The decision was very questioned by European press, as Cavani was not able to play for the team. During the last two weeks he had been doing the self-isolation period required but now, when he was able to play for the first time, he was left out.

Other incorporation from the club in this transfer window did travel to Paris, such as Uruguayan youngster Facundo Pellistri, signed from Peñarol for $9 million. Donny van de Beek, Amad Diallo or Alex Telles did so. Cavani will have to wait, and we may think that his debut will finally take place against Chelsea, on October 24 on Premier League Week 6.
