Javier Saviola had a very large and complete professional career as a soccer player. He was formed at River Plate, where he also ended his career, but he passed through many teams and live in many parts of the world. The most remember one was his time at FC Barcelona, where he played many years.

But after his retirement Conejito, as he is known, drastically changed his life and decided a change. He was living at Buenos Aires, Argentina, and decided to emigrate to Andorra. Since then, he plays indoor soccer with a local team and helps as the second coach of FC Ordino.

Saviola explained that the decision to live in that city had to do with the insistence of his lawyer, who also lived there. At the age of 38 he decided to emigrate to a country which is very safe and has a great quality life. Since then, he lives there with his wife and his kids.

Saviola was one of the most expensive players that River sold, when Barcelona paid $37 million for him. Then he also played at AS Monaco, Sevilla, Real Madrid, Benfica, Málaga, Olympiakos and Hellas Verona. On January 2016 he played for the last time and since then he enjoys his new life at Europe playing futsal.
