The millions that Real Madrid must pay to remove Zinedine Zidane and to sign Mauricio Pochettino
The Spanish side is thinking on sacking Zidane and this is what they will spend to do so and to sign Pochettino.
Zinedine Zidane is going through its worst moment at Real Madrid. The French head coach has lost some crucial games lately, his team is in risk of not qualifying to the Champions League final stage and the second period of him as a manager is very near to reach an end.
Florentino Pérez has already thought on sacking Zidane and the only impediment that he has is the economical one, as doing so will cost the club more or less $50 million, according to local press. Last year the value to kick him was $80 million, but it was reduced after the pass of a year, as his contract lasts until June 2022.
In this second period at the Galacticos, Zidane has managed the team during 77 matches with the result of 45 victories, 16 ties and 16 defeats. The last two one was very criticized by the fans, against Deportivo Alavés 1-2 at LaLiga and against Shakhtar Donetsk 2-0 at UCL.
If Zidane is sacked, the coach with more chances to assume is Mauricio Pochettino. The Argentinian is a free agent after he left Tottenham on November 2019 and could assume at Real Madrid with no problem. The contract from a coach of his conditions could cost Florentino at least $10 million more.
