Mexico national team played the first match of the FIFA international break against South-Korea on a friendly. The team coached by Gerardo Martino won 3-2 and will now face Japan in their next presentation. After the game, two players who were from the start at the first game shared a picture that caused nostalgia.

Raúl Jiménez showed himself laughing next to Edson Álvarez. They both played the match from last Saturday and are looking forward to being once again against Japan. Fans of America got crazy after seeing the image of two players born at the club who couldn’t share the squad for being from another generation.

Giménez jumped to the Liga MX first team in 2012 and played until 2014, when Atlético de Madrid signed him. Álvarez started playing with the first team newly on 2017 and left on 2019 to Ajax. They are now both having excellent moments in Europe, Jiménez at Wolverhampton and Álvarez still at Ajax, and that is why they reunite at the national team.

But, how much it would cost America the dream to have these two back right now? It would just be impossible. The attacker has a reported value of almost $45 million and teams such as Manchester United or Juventus follow him. The midfielder is worth $10 million nowadays.
