The four players that Barcelona would sell to finance Messi's renewal

FC Barcelona is going through a crisis and that is not new. Koeman made a lot of hard choices and he does not stop. After cutting Arturo Vidal, Ivan Rakitic and Luis Suarez, he decided to leave out another four players. What are the plans for FC Barcelona in the future?

Rick Puig, Carles Aleñá, Junior Firpo and Martin Braithwaite are not in Koeman’s plans. If FC Barcelona sells this four players, they could get at least $75 million dollars. That would be enough to cover Messi’s renewal. Not only because of the contract, also because of the stars to make a competitive team.

Lionel Messi will not stay if the team is not a candidate to win a Champions League, or at least La Liga title. The last UCL season was awful, and ended up with one of the worst defeats of FC Barcelona history. What should the team do? Is this the moment to leave out Messi and reorganize the team?

All the fans hope that the answer is no. They still claim that the team should be built around the Argentinian. One of the main reinforcements for this season could be Kylian Mbappe but he is way too expensive, that’s why the team is considering selling that four academy players.
