The adverse record that Liverpool is about to beat

Liverpool is living it´s worst streak at Anfield in their history. So much so that, in 128 years they have never lost five games in a row. And this is just the tip of the iceberg of their deep crisis. "It is something general. We cannot say that it only happens to us at home. We have to improve in the decisive moments. We have to win games. The blow has been tremendous", said Klopp after the 0-1 against Chelsea.

A slip that left the current champion in the seventh place of the table, out of the European positions and four points from the Champions zone. The lead is Manchester City that takes them 22 points. Only Southampton (four), Newcastle (seven) and West Brom (nine) have won less. And they have lost five of their last six games. Defending is important for stability", confessed the German leader. And for his bad luck, the 'MSF' (Mane-Salah-Firmino) is dry: Mané chains five days without scoring, Firmino seven and the top scorer (17 goals) Salah was substituted in the 62nd minute against Chelsea. "We are not mentally and physically fresh," Klopp warned: "We changed a lot because of the injuries, which cut us off our rhythm", he concluded.
