Real Madrid has a problem with contracts. Luka Modric and Sergio Ramos will be free agents next summer if they do not extend theirs, and will be free to negotiate with other teams since January 1st. It seems like Modric accepted the offer to renew and will sign it in the next days, but what about Ramos?

The situation of the captain seems to be a bit more complicated. Rene, his brother and agent, is negotiating with the board and is hoping to reach and agreement, but there is no signs of what will happen. The defender was seen in Seville, his hometown where he went to spend Christmas with his family.

A couple of journalists waited for him and asked if he was going to renew his contract and stay at Real Madrid. Ramos's reply left doubts everywhere: 'We will see', he said. He is rumoured to have an offer from MLS, more specifically Inter Miami CF, if the negotiations with his current team go south. His good relationship with David Beckham is an enabler for this.

Sergio Ramos is 34 years old and played 665 matches with Real Madrid since he joined from Sevilla in 2005. He is the fourth player with most matches in the history of the club. And he won 22 titles with his team, the second most winner alongside Marcelo and Sanchis, only one behind Gento.
