The Rossonero is vey willing to hire of the 20-year-old defender of Ligue 1's Racing Club Strasbourg Mohamed Simakan, a young French standout who is compared with Dayot Upamecano, the RB Leipzig's star. Simakan, who has already been targeted last season, is now a priority for the Italian giants.

Negotiations for Simakan began a few months ago when AC Milan executives offered 17 million euros to take over the services of the French defender. But the amount offered by the current Serie A leader was not enough for the RC Strasbourg's executives, who have already communicated how much money they want for Simakan.

The team coached by Stefano Pioli will have to pay 30 million euros if they want to hire Mohamed Simakan. That's more money than what they had paid for Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic -at his prime-, Andriy Shevchenko, Robinho, Clarence Seedorf, Mario Ballotelli, Fernando Redondo  and many more.

While the clubs continue to negotiate, the defender has already given the go-ahead to move to the Italian club and they have already negotiated a 5-year contract, which Simakan has accepted. Whether the negotiation has a happy ending depends only on the French team.

Simakan signed his first professional contract on May 16, 2018 with RC Strasbourg, and soon after made his debut in a UEFA Europa League match on July 25, 2019 against Maccabi Haifa. He is also an under-20 international with the French national team, with which he made his debut against Slovenia.
