Mauricio Pochettino is a low profile coach, but got a top reputation and that made him earn the job as Paris Saint-Germain manager, the club where he played at for two years at the beginning of the century. Another team where he feels at home is Espanyol, where The Argentinian spent nine years as a player and other five as a manager.

So, it is kind of obvious that he will have not so nice feelings about FC Barcelona. When he was coaching Tottenham, Poch said that he would rather retire and work in a farm instead of managing the Cules. And recently, he told that he would never feel identified with that club, and is preparing something that will hurt Barça.

What Pochettino wants is to bring Lionel Messi to PSG, the best player of FC Barcelona's history. Pochettino has told that they share a lot of things, like their origins and being Newell's fans, The coach is convinced that he can form a friendship with the GOAT and lead him to move to France.

Espanyol has never had the resources to fight for big things and now they are in the second division, but their fans will be happy that one of them is not only in a top club, but also preparing a hit against their city rivals. If Messi decides to leave at the end of the season, Pochettino will be the first to call him.
