Liverpool moved into first position at the top of the Premier League table today with a 3-0 win over Crystal Palace. Manchester United won't be in action until Sunday against West Ham United, where a win against the London club will help them tie Liverpool with points at the top of the table.

The Reds had an embarrassing opening match in the UEFA Champions League, losing 2-1 to Young Boys of Switzerland despite opening the scoring through Cristiano Ronaldo, but were setback by Aaron Wan-Bissaka's red card. They will be looking to bounce back from the result and also reclaim top spot in the league.

West Ham United will also be hoping to get back to winning ways in the league after settling for a draw in their previous League game against Southampton. Striker Michail Antonio has scored four goals already this season but is suspended having picked up a red card against Southampton. The Hammers won their Europa League match 2-0 against Dinamo Zagreb.

Jesse Lingard who played for West Ham on loan last season will have a chance to redeem himself against his old club after gifting Young Boys the win in midweek with an erratic back pass. Cristiano Ronaldo will look to continue his individual goal scoring form when he plays again this Sunday. He has scored three goals in two games since his return.

Manchester United won both games in the league last season and repeating similar results will help them keep tabs with fierce rivals, Liverpool at the top of the table. Let's see how the teams could possibly line up.

Manchester United (4-2-3-1): De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Maguire, Shaw, Fred, Pogba, Fernandes, Sancho, Greenwood, Ronaldo.

West Ham (4-2-3-1): Fabianski; Coufal, Zouma, Ogbonna, Cresswell; Soucek, Rice; Bowen, Vlasic, Fornals; Yarmolenko
