Sergio Busquets has made an entire career at FC Barcelona. He joined the club on 2005 when he arrived to La Masía from Jabac. Since then, he never left, and he is playing for the first team since 2008. Despite many offers received, Busi always kept loyal to his greatest love.

But after more than 12 years things can change as Busquets may leave Barcelona for the very first time. Head coach Ronald Koeman is thinking on axing him, as the midfielder is going through several physical problems and the Dutch trainer wants strong players. Miralem Pjanic could be his replacement then.

But Busquets is not yet thinking about retirement. He has said many times that when his professional career ends, he would like to be a coach. Until then there is time remaining and the Spanish player wants to continue for a bit long. During the last years, he received many offers to join Asian soccer.

Busquets has been tempted with mansions, luxuries and top cars to retire on a club such as Andrés Iniesta or Xavi Hernández. So far they haven’t convince him, but if Koeman finally decides he is not needed anymore, he may be leaving for real and follow those millionaire offers.
