Liga MX has had great international players playing there. Some of them have succeed, with Ronaldinho, Pep Guardiola and Pierre-Andre Gignac being some of them. But others came with the same tag and did not have that luck because they were never able to perform even at a decent level.

So here there is a list of those who could not make it and are remembered in Mexico without a smile, if they are remembered. There is a World Cup winner, someone with past at FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, someone who directly is considered a legend of the sport, and more.

-Bernd Schuster: after eight great years at FC Barcelona, where he played with Diego Maradona, he moved directly to Real Madrid. He ended his career in Pumas, playing just nine matches and leaving the club using a toothache as an excuse.

-Bebeto: he won the World Cup with Brazil in 1994, and five years later he joined Toros Neza, at 35 years old. He never performed as expected and even told he regrets that transfer.

-Eusebio: the Panther of Mozambique is a legend in Portugal, but what he did at Monterrey was quickly forgotten. One gol in ten matches is all he could do at the end of his career.

-Raul Tamudo: the second top scorer ever of Espanyol history. But at Pachuca, he played nine matches and never scored. He had a contract for three years but left after six months.

-Nery Castillo: international for Mexico, Pachuca fans expected a lot from him. But he never found consistency and scored just once.

-Djalminha: this international for Brazil was key in the Deportivoteam that won the Spanish league in 2000. His last kicks to the ball were at Club America, with just five forgettable matches.

-Roque Santa Cruz: this one performed fine, with four goals in ten matches. But the former Bayern Munich and Manchester City striker had lots of injuries and could never play regularly.

-Ikechukwu Uche: 100% effectiveness. One match, one goal. He was signed with Gignac, Jurgen Damm and more in the ambitious Tigresproject, but the injuries prevented him of having even a second game.
