Kevin De Bruyne made a final decision regarding interest from Real Madrid and PSG

There are not many players around the whole world who are doing better than Kevin De Bruyne at the moment. The Manchester City midfielder is playing great soccer and 2020 has been the best year of his career. Unfortunately for him, he could not lift an important trophy last season (only the English League Cup).

So obviously, he caught the interest of some teams among the best of all. More specifically, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain. They knew his contract was going to expire soon and they were ready to start negotiation with his agent whenever he wanted. And De Bruyne made his choice.

Finally, he decided to snub both clubs and to renew his contract with Manchester City. De Bruyne is currently on talks for an extension until 2025, with a rise that would take his incomes from 19,7 to 23,5 million euro yearly. And of course, promises of bringing into the squad more world class players thinking of winning UEFA Champions League.

With this decision, Zinedine Zidane and Thomas Tuchel are missing out on an expert on vision, assisting, crossing and positioning. He will keep playing under Pep Guardiola and try to make history to a club that started tasting success just this decade, trying to win the most important club tournament of all.
