Concacaf revealed how the new format of the Concacaf Champions League will be. It was confirmed that the revenge games will be played inside the "bubble" to reduce the chances of spreading the coronavirus. On the other hand, does series where the home game hasn't been played, such as Cruz Azul vs LAFC, will be held as a single game.

The bubble of the Concacaf Champions League will be set in the United States. The championship will take place from December 15 to 22.

Atlanta United and America will play the second game of the quarterfinals on December 16. After knowing this news, the controversies began since it would not be played on equal terms as thee first game. The first match of this series was played in Mexico with local audience and the revenge game won't be. The Mexican Jurgen Damm, Atlanta United player, demanded that conditions are equal and that without fans and in neutral stadium America would not have won 3-0.

Just as America was able to count on its fans at the Azteca Stadium in March, Jurgen Damm ask for an equal treatment for Atlanta. Damm wants the game to be played at Atlanta United's Mercedez Benz Stadium. But this will not be possible as all games will be played without fans.
