Lots of soccer clubs have been empowered by wealthy owners or large investment funds and grow their selves big enough to dominate the world. Most of them are among the most prestigious ones in the world but some others are owned by billionaires and are yet to become the greatest in the world.

Sheikh Mansour is the vice prime minister of United Arab Emirates. He became Manchester City’s top shareholder in 2008 after investing €250 million (around $302 million). He owns the City Football Group, a group that features 10 clubs, including New York City FC, Melbourne City in Australia, Montevideo City Torque in Uruguay and Yokohama Marinos in Japan. Bolivia’s giants Bolivar became a new member of the CFG a few weeks ago. Mansour has a fortune of $20 billion.

Austria has a huge company: Red Bull. The energy drink features some soccer clubs like RB Leipzig, Red Bull Salzburg in Austria and MLS’ New York Red Bulls. Apart from that, they dominated Formula 1 championship with German legend Sebastian Vettel at the beginning of 2010s. It’s owned by Austrian Dietrich Mateschitz, who owns 49% of the brand. In 2009 he created the German club, which is already among the most important in the Bundesliga. His fortune is valued at $ 19 billion.
