Since the day in which he announced his departure from FC Barcelona, to play at Vissel Kobe Japanese side, the Catalan side could never have a player like Andrés Iniesta once again. The Spanish midfielder was never replaced in the Catalan side, that formed many talented players in La Masía but no one like him.

A couple of years ago, a talent appeared, and it was said that he could be the new Iniesta. He is Carles Aleñá, midfielder aged 23 formed in the club that Ronald Koeman decided during the first days of 2021 that he is no longer considering and axed him from the squad.

Aleñá also wanted more minutes to play as he agreed to move on a loan and Getafe C.F. is the club that will be benefited. The Spanish had to leave Barça previously on January of this year, when he was neither considered and passed to Real Betis, a club in which he played until July on a loan.

In total, Aleñá has played 89 matches for Barcelona, scoring 18 goals and giving 14 assists, interesting numbers considering that most of that games he played were entering from the bench. With a contract until June 2022 there are several chances for the player to move on a permanent deal or to wait to be a free agent, if Barcelona decides to misuse him.
