He came to Real Madrid as the successor of Cristiano Ronaldo and now they want to get rid of him

After the elimination of the Champions League by Chelsea, and although it still has the Spanish League, Real Madrid is already thinking about next season. In this sense, planning begins with the first candidates to leave the White House. One name stands out: Belgian Eden Hazard. 

Beyond the images that emerged after the defeat against Chelsea in which the little footballer laughed with his former teammates at the London club, Madrid's sports management is not willing to continue waiting for him to be again. They consider that the 115 million euros they paid at the time (2019) never received consideration on the field. And his performance in the team had a drag, from which he still could not recover: injuries.

According to the Spanish press, the decision made at the desks regarding the Belgian is not related to what happened at Stamford Bridge. Yes, they were images that generated anger among the most staunch Madridistas, who would like to see Hazard, who has three more years of a high contract, out of the club as soon as possible.

Evaluations about the Belgian's work on the pitch were already negative, apart from the fact that coach Zinedine Zidane relied on his one on one and his electric dribble every time the former Lille and Chelsea were available. Hazard's numbers this season are far from being those of an elite footballer who was called to fight for the throne of the best in the world with the very Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Neymar or Kylian Mbappé.

The talent shown in Chelsea raised him to the galactic scale, but he could never live up to the expectations generated on the day of his presentation at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, with 50,000 people in the stands. In the current campaign, Hazard has just three goals in 17 games, of which he was only a starter in 11. Statistics that do not reflect everything that he once hinted at in France and achieved in England.
