Gennaro Gattuso keeps guilting Hirving Lozano for his own mistakes

Gennaro Gattuso keeps trying to make everybody believe that Napoli's problem is Hirving Lozano. Napoli lost 1-0 at home against Netherlander AZ Alkaamar after playing a very bad game in UEFA Europa League. Lozano wasn't as bad as his teammates, nonetheless, Gattuso took him out first.

Is clear that Lozano isn't Gattuso's kind of player. In fact, that's to say the least, because day after day it get's clearer that what happens between the is more personal dislike than professional differences. Besides this, lately Lozano had been taking advantage of Insigne's and Mertens' low level to earn a spot on the starting line up. Today, not even this was enough.

The most amazing thing about today's defeat is that Napoli haven't shown any kind of defiance, not even after AZ scored. In fact, Napoli was better in the first half, with Politano and Mertens missing some goals, than in the second one. Also, it must be a warning sign that AZ Alkaamar didn't exactly played a monstrous game.  With very little effort, the Netherlander side picked up a victory in Napoles.

Everything comes back to Gattuso. There is the problem. Napoli has very skillful players and by moments is a very vertical team, but doesn't seem to have a clear game plan, or at least not a clear one. Moreover, this anarchy is a confortable environment for Lozano, who by itself is a rebellious player. But this doesn't mean he is the problem. Let me say this clear: Hirving Lozano is not Napoli's problem. The problem is Gennaro Gattuso. Don't let his decisions confused you.
