A lot has been talked about the January 2021 elections at FC Barcelona. And Joan Laporta, likely to be the winner, has already promised a big chain of transfers that could make a soccer revolution at the club. It is because the money is immediately needed and his idea would satisfy both the bank accounts and the soccer level.

The money the club spent for Antoine Griezmann and Philippe Coutinho rounds the 300 million euro, and Laporta's intention is to sell both to recover a good part of that money and invest it in another expensive player, someone who is supposed to guarantee goals and assist due to his quality.

The player Laporta wants to sign with the funds of Griezmann and Coutinho is Erling Haaland. The Norwegian seems to has never been on a dry spell in his career, and at Borussia Dortmund he is scoring goals with a frequency that make defenders feel terror of him. Haaland would be available for 75 million euro.

Laporta wants to return to the position he worked for between 2003 and 2010, winning UEFA Champions League twice in that term, in 2006 and 2009. His past full of glory, his abilities for negotiation and him being the one who appointed Pep Guardiola in his first manager job in a first team make him likely to become the next president of FC Barcelona.
