Barcelona needs deep changes. They didn't go for them in the last transfer market. For some reason, FC Barcelona is not only short of players but also short on money. They weren't able to pay only 20 million euros for Memphis Depay, for instance. And they weren't able to pay for Clement Lenglet's successor, neither.

His name is already defined: Eric García. Manchester City's defender is a product of La Masía -as many of Manchester City's yough standouts- and after not signing contract with FC Barcelona, he followed Fernán Soriano to Manchester City, where coach Pep Guardiola included him in the first team.

Right now, Eric García is a starter for the Citizens. Non-the-less, the wants to get back to Barcelona, the city where he grew. He has already communicated that to the Manchester City's board. The Citizens were open to sell the player for the right price, but Barcelona, how was very interested in resigning him, couldn't much the price tag.

The player still wants to return to the Camp Nou. His contract with Manchester City expires in 2021, and he has decided that after that he will sign with Barcelona. It's a risk path for the Spaniard side, though, as García could change his mind before June of next year. The safest way would be to buy him in January for a very low price, which would also be convenient for Manchester City to make some money out of him. Will Barcelona pull the trigger this time?
