Many sportsmen are not focused only on what they do, because they enjoy of a lot of things, and other sports are never the exception because they see themselves in somebody else. In this case, Conor McGregor told he loves soccer, and even confessed what team does he like and still follows closely.

The UFC legend revealed also why did he choose that Premier League team when he was a little boy. That reason had an influence on his personality and made him the competitive athlete he is today. Also he told he bought his first shirt when he was eight years old.

And it turned out that Conor McGregor is a Manchester United fan. He loved the success and the winning mentality of the club, and that mentored him in some way. He also held Roy Keane as an idol, not just for being Irish, but also because ‘the rivals felt defeated before facing him’.

He also praised Sir Alex Ferguson and told he wants to be like him, being successful for many many years. The fighter remembered the times Cristiano Ronaldo played for the Red Devils and compared him with himself, saying they are two disciplined athletes at the top of their professions.
