Viva Mexico! Clubs from all over the world wished Mexico a happy Flag Day and sent their congratulations through their social networks, as a sign of the affection they have for the country, and the Mexican fans of their teams.

Clubs that wished Mexico a happy Flag Day

PSG

Paris Saint-Germain was one of the first to congratulate the country, with an image showing the beautiful Eiffel Tower bathed in green, white, and red, representative colors of the Mexican flag.

It should be remembered that Florian Thauvin and André Pierre-Gignac, French players who have had a good career at Tigres, are currently playing in Liga MX, especially Gignac, who is one of the top foreign goal scorers to have arrived in Mexican soccer in recent years. 

Napoli

The club where Hirving "Chucky" Lozano currently plays was another club that joined in the celebration.

Chucky" has struggled to achieve consistency with the team where the legendary Diego Armando Maradona played, and when injuries do not afflict him, he always responds with goals. 

Olympique de Marseille

Another great European club that joined the celebration and that plays in Ligue 1 was Olympique de Marseille, the club where Gignac played, who was depicted in an illustration that shows him waving the Mexican flag.

The Bundesliga team not only congratulated Mexico on Flag Day but also showed off players such as Marco Fabián and Carlos Salcedo, who played for the club.

What is Mexico's Flag Day all about?

Flag Day is a national holiday in Mexico dedicated to its flag and has been celebrated every year on February 24 since its implementation in 1937. 

On this same date, Jose Magdaleno Ocampo made the first three-color flag for what would soon become an independent Mexico.
