Club America has been looking for reinforcements since several days and asking mainly for the young talents. The first reinforcement that arrived the week before, is the offensive player Mauro Lainez, who had a very good Guardianes 2020 season with the Tijuana Xolos, this caused that the coach Miguel Herrera and the Club America sports director Santiago Baños to pay a lot of attention on him and in his qualities.

The Club America board continue in the search for more reinforcements for the next Clausura 2021. Alan Medina, the young promise from Club Toluca, was practically one signing away from being transferred to Club America, but Chivas de Guadalajara also appeared with the interest of hiring him and complicated all kinds of negotiation.

Apparently, the board of directors in club America took a long time to close the negotiation with Medina, so Ricardo Pelaes, Chivas sports director took advantage and offered an interesting proposal that greatly interested Club Toluca and the young player, who will probably decide for Chivas. The sports director of America Santiago Baños is working under the premise of not spending a lot of money on hiring players, however that policy is making him lose one of the most important young talents in the Mexican football today.
