The defeat of Chivas in the 'Clásico Nacional' on Sunday night has remained in the total discontent of the owner of the team, Amaury Vergara, who stated that it was played without commitment, so they now owe a great debt to the fans. The Chivas fell by a score of 3-0 against América with goals from Henry Martín who dispatched the flock on two occasions; the third goal was an action of Sebastián Córdova who sentenced the match at home of the 'Rojiblancos'.

The Chivas team apparently did not put up resistance, competed little and generated droppers, which has left a severe reading for the owner of the Guadalajara team, who gave his opinion on social networks: “Yesterday's game was a disaster. Chivas did not live up to the classic nor did we show the commitment that Guadalajara demands. We are in enormous debt to our fans”.

These qualifiers will penetrate the Chivas team which will now have to rebuild the path in the tournament, because not only have they lost the most important match of the regular tournament, they are also now in 13th position in the contest and compared to America they are at opposite poles. Chivas has 12 points, product of 2 wins, 6 draws and 3 losses in the regular tournament, while the 'Águilas' of America boasts 25 points and are installed in the second spot.

As the leader is Cruz Azul with 27 units played in the Mexican tournament, and it will be this team that they will face in a few weeks on the 14th round. This match, even if it does not have the 'Clásico Nacional' category, is a duel of importance and pride for the 'Rebaño Sagrado'.
