He is one of the most complete goalkeepers there are out there. Great reflexes, great positioning, great leadership. He has everything. The only thing that has failed him so far is his club, always being almost good enough to beat the European giants. In fact, he never won a league with his team.

And at the same time, both Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are not feeling safe about their #1. In the former, Edouard Mendy has made a great impression at first, but his performances went down. In the latter, Keylor Navas is a good short term solution, but some people think his expiring date is near.

That is why both teams have the desire to count on Jan Oblak for next season. The Slovenian is a perfect keeper for any team, and any move could be benefitial for everybody. For the buyer, it would mean a more solid defending and more chances of winning important titles. For Oblak, he would be closer to lift a trophy. His price tag goes around 60 million euro.

Playing for Atletico Madrid since 2014, Jan Oblak was named as a replacement for Thibaut Courtois and established himself as one of the best keepers in the world. He was nominated as one of the three finalists for The Best goalkeeper award and finished third, losing to Alisson Becker and Manuel Neuer.
