If Carlos Vela will play once again in Liga MX during his professional career it is still a mystery. During the past transfer windows, the name of the Mexican attacker has been linked several times with various Mexican sides, such as Chivas former club, Club America and, recently, Tigres UANL.

It is reported that Tigres started talks with LAFC as they wanted to sign Ghanaian midfielder Latif Blessing. According to reports, the player aged causes real interest on the Mexican team and could be moving soon. His career started at Liberty Professionals FC at Ghana and continued at Sporting Kansas City, Swope Park and LAFC.

But the talks have derived to another conversation, as LAFC showed interest on André-Pierre Gignac as well. The attacker aged 35 has a contract remaining until June 2021, the reason why he could be leaving for free soon or for a small amount of money as well. But as the MLS side showed interest, the response was clear and concrete.

As it was reported by local press, Tigres said to LAFC that they were only going to let Gignac out if Carlos Vela was included in the negotiation. In this way, the only chances of these two players moving seem to be a barter. For now, that is the only clear possibility for Vela to move to the Liga MX back and for Gignac to have his first time at the MLS.
