When a team is not well in sports, what usually changes is the coach. The context is not analyzed, or if the leadership has responsibility or if the staff is simply not up to the task. The technician is always the one who loses his place. And in the Bundesliga, a team announced this Sunday that it has fired its fourth coach so far this season and now has a replacement.

This is Schalke 04, who announced that Christian Gross left his post after the resounding defeat suffered by Stuttgart 5-1. "Christian Gross is no longer coach of Schalke 04. Along with him, Rainer Widmayer (assistant), Sascha Riether (coordinator of the first team) and Werner Leuthard (physical trainer) are relegated", announced the German club. In addition, the departure of Jochen Schneider, sports and communication director, was announced.

This was the fourth coach to lose his position in the entity, after the departures of David Wagner, Manuel Baum and Huub Stevens (who was interim and due to poor results decided to step aside). Now, Peter Knäbel will take over the team on an interim basis, thus becoming the fifth manager of the course.

What happened so that there are so many coaches so far this season? Just bad results. Is that in 23 games played in the Bundesliga, Schalke 04 is located in the last position of the standings, with nine points from a victory, six draws and 16 defeats. With these numbers, no technician will last long.
