He's on a positive streak, he got three important points and, momentarily, he watches everyone from the top of the standings. We're talking about America, led by the Argentine Santiago Solari, who beat Mazatlán on Friday night 1-0 as a visitor and was the leader of the Liga MX, at least until Saturday night when Cruz Azul plays, second to one point, at home against Atlas directed by Diego Cocca.

America won the match played at the Mazatlán stadium with a goal by José Ortíz, against his own goal, in the 71st minute. In the winning team the Argentines Leandro Suárez (Boca) and Emmanuel Aguilera (Godoy Cruz, Defensa y Justicia and Independiente) played. Solari, 44, played for River, San Lorenzo, Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid, Peñarol and Inter, while he managed Real Madrid and its subsidiary Castilla, having his third experience as head coach.

In the other match last night, Necaxa at the Victoria stadium in Aguascalientes beat Juárez 1-0 with a goal from Ian González in the third additional minute. In Necaxa Maximiliano Salas (All Boys) played and in the loser Ariel García (Gimnasia and San Martín de Tucumán).

The date will continue today with San Luis-Pumas and Cruz Azul-Atlas, it will continue tomorrow with Tijuana-Queretaro, Toluca-Puebla, Santos Laguna-León and will be completed on Monday with Monterrey-Guadalajara. The leader is America with 28 units (12 matches), Cruz Azul 27 (11), Santos Laguna 21 (11) and Monterrey 19 (11).
