Benito Mussolini was one of the most feared men in the world in the 20th century, as the leader of Italy from the fascist party. His granddaughter had a son called Romano, who today is 18 years old and plays as a right back. He does not want his name to be related to politics, but soccer.

He knows, still, that he might get a different treatment because of that. But he has been coming up through the ranks in his club and joined the Primavera team, the equivalent in his country for a reserves team. If his progression keeps going, he will have his professional debut soon.

Ironically, he plays for Lazio, a team that is commonly associated to right-wing politics. But he does not listen and wants him to be remembered for who he is, and not for his family. However, the surname of his father is Floriani, but he uses both last names. He is Romano Floriani Mussolini.

The young defender hopes to be the next Lazio star and have a good career with soccer. He had played for their rivals, AS Roma, when he started. Hopefully for him, he will not be associated with the Duce when he plays, and when that last name gets mentioned, people will think about Romano.
