Diego Armando Maradona died on November 25 after suffering a heart attack in his house at Buenos Aires, Argentina. Since then, all type of videos and information linked to him exploded on social media. One of those was the one in which he talked to a journalist about Real Madrid.

In the images, Maradona revealed that he once talked with Florentino Pérez and told him that he should sign Kylian Mbappé. As he explained, it was a conversation that he had with the president of the Galacticos when they met in an event at FIFA. Even though Florentino never talked about his meeting, it was the Argentinian who revealed it before dying.

Maradona even assured that he told Florentino to discard Gareth Bale, if that was necessary to sign Mbappé. The president said that he had already other top players on those days, as the Welsh attacker and Cristiano Ronaldo, and couldn’t afford to have an expensive signing as the French forward.

Aged 21, the world champion is still playing for Paris Saint-Germain, club that signed him on July 2018 for $150 million from Monaco. At PSG he played 137 games, with 100 goals scored and 58 assists given. Florentino still has Mbappé on his radar and there are certain chances for him to sign the top star on the future.
