They reveal the impressive blow to the bank in which they robbed one of Diego Maradona's greatest fortunes

November 25 will be remembered forever as the day in which Diego Armando Maradona died. He was 60 years old when he suffered a heart attack and died. The health of the Argentinian legend was very fragile already, and he was hospitalized just a couple of weeks before suffering this tremendous incident that cost him his life.

During his professional career as a soccer player and afterwards as well, Maradona gained a fortune that is now being divided between his inheritors. Regarding that, it was now revealed one of the greatest robberies that he suffered, when he was playing at Italy for Napoli.

A bank where he had some of his belongings was robbed by gangsters from Italian camorra and Maradona lost there a lot of important and valuable objects. One of the ones he cared the most about was the Ballon D’Or that FIFA gave him for being the best player from the World Cup Mexico 1986.

It was afterwards known that Maradona received a call from a gangster and could recover part of the things that he was robbed, but never the award given by FIFA, that was made of gold and never recovered. It was just a piece of the fortune that the idol gained as being one of the best soccer players ever, not to say the best one.
