They call him the new Samuel Eto’o and FC Barcelona and Real Madrid have already been interested in him

Samuel Eto’o has been the most famous player ever from Cameroon to play in many important European teams. Since then, the arrival of players from that country, make everyone think about him and compare him. Recently, a new attacker with similar conditions and formed in the same placed as Eto’o appeared.

His name is Ignatius Ganago, he was born in Douala, Cameroon, and plays for Lens. He arrived to Europe in July 2017, when he joined OGC Niza as a free agent. Since then, he played three years for that club before jumping to Lens, the club that betted on him and paid $6 million for his transfer.

With a contract signed until June 2024, there are certain chances for Ganago to jump to a big European team soon, as FC Barcelona and Real Madrid have already put an eye on him. As he is just 21 years old, all think that he will have a bright future and the next season will be very important for him.

The attacker played just 18 games for Lens since his arrival, in which he scored five goals and gave a pair of assists, all during this season. For Niza, he played 62 matches, entering a big number of them from the bench and scoring seven goals. With his debut done in Cameroon national team in October 2019, everyone is waiting to see if the new Eto’o has appeared in the soccer world.
