Born in Porto Alegre, Brazil, and with a professional career of more than 20 years, Ronaldinho is widely recognized as one of the greatest talents in the history of soccer. Ronaldinho signed a five-year contract with the French club Paris Saint-Germain in a transfer of 5 million euros in 2001 that meant his jump to European soccer. During his time at Paris Saint-Germain, Ronaldinho showed a great level of play without exploding, and even had problems with coach Luis Fernandez, as he claimed that Ronaldinho frequented the Parisian nightlife and left aside soccer.
