2020 wasn’t an easy year, as due to the COVID-19 pandemic many people all over the world suffered several consequences. One of those was Pele, the Brazilian legend who lamented the death of some very important persons for him and couldn’t make his habitual routine of every year.
The Brazilian legend suffered first the death of his brother and afterwards the one of Diego Armando Maradona, the Argentinian whom he loved a lot and whom with he had a very good relationship during the last years. These two deaths make him felt horrible, as he wasn’t expecting them to happen.
The year in which he celebrated his 80s wasn’t as he wanted. Pele could make no big parties or celebrations, as he should take care of COVID-19 pandemic. The isolation took him to a bad situation, as he couldn’t make his habitual routine of every year, that consisted on traveling through all over the world to watch soccer matches and participate from events.

As a professional soccer player, Pele was one of the best ever, not to say the best one. He started his career at Santos, and he only played there and at New York Cosmos. Nevertheless, his greatest hits were conquered at Brazil national team, with which he achieved to gain the World Cup several times and transformed into a legend.
