Diego Armando Maradona had an incredible professional career, being one of the best players ever. Many fans compare his to Pele after his great achievements and say that the Argentinian was even better than the Brazilian. The comparison started in the 2000s, after the retirement of the no. 10.

Maradona played many important matches in his career. At Napoli, FC Barcelona, Boca Juniors, Sevilla and Newell’s he was one of the remarkable players. But for the Argentina national team, he was clearly the best player in its history, as he gained a World Cup title and ended second in another one.

The most remember match he ever played was the one against England on the World Cup of Mexico 1986. In the quarter-finals of that tournament, Diego scored two goals, in probably the best performance ever for a single player in such a competition. In that game he used a blue jersey with a particular story.

After the game, Maradona swapped the shirt with Steve Hodge, midfielder from the England national team. After many years, he decided to loan it to the National Museum of Soccer at Manchester. It is not for sale, but such relic must be valuated higher than a million dollars according to specialists.
