A lot has been said about soccer forms bondings between people who do not share even the same language. Soccer is love, peace, union. And that is the thought the Italian government had to come up with the revolutionary idea of a new tournament, and will propose it to FIFA soon.

Luigi Di Maio is the chancellor of Italy. He was born in Avellino, a city near Naples, two weeks after Diego Maradona's masterclass match against England and a week after Diego lifted the most wanted trophy with Argentina. The idea of the tournament was his, as he told press he grew up with Maradona's myth.

What Di Maio wants, and other Italian political departments agreed, is to create a tournament of three national teams in Napoli's stadium, in the Diego Armando Maradona. The teams are: Argentina, for obvious reasons, Italy, for being the second most Maradonean country, and England, the other team in the best soccer match ever.

Anyway, the idea of a Tournament for the Peace would not be easy to be concreted, given it would not be easy to find an international break where the three national teams are free. Between World Cup Qualifiers, Euros, America Cup and UEFA Nations League, the calendar is too busy for everybody.
