Antonio Valencia will play at Liga MX for the very first time in his professional career at his 35 years old. The right defender has joined Querétaro FC as a free agent, after he left Liga de Quito Ecuadorian side. At Mexico, he was received as a legend, due to his time at Manchester United.

But some voices have risen to criticize the player and many of them did so to compare him to Ronaldinho. The Brazilian legend also played for Querétaro in the last years of his career. He was there since September 2014 until July 2015, scoring eight goals and giving six assists on 30 appearances.

Many fans criticized Dinho saying that he didn’t help Querétaro at that time and assure that the same will be happening with Valencia. Undoubtedly, the Mexican side has achieved a formula to sign some top player who were in his time to some bests in the world.

Valencia was born at CD Caribe Jr. During his large career he played at El Nacional, Villarreal CF, Recreativo, Wigan and Liga de Quito, although his greatest time was at Manchester United. With the Red Devils he scored 25 goals on 339 matches played and was the captain during a large period of time.
