The most special car that Diego Maradona had and said a lot about his personality

Diego Maradona had a great career thanks to his soccer skills that made him one of the best players of the history of the sport. And of course, that generated a lot of money for him. He made a immense fortune that after his passing, got very hard to split, because it is just too much.

Among that fortune, he owned a lot of cars that were the best of the best. The most comfortable and the fastest. And there also an amphibious one. But there was one of them that was the most special of all, emotionally different to the rest. This was the first car he ever bought, in 1982.

It was a Fiat 128. A small sedan vehicle that is not big deal now, but it was at that time. Maradona bought it to ride in Buenos Aires just before he signed for FC Barcelona. When he went back to Argentina, he continued driving it so he did not forget his roots. And that says a lot about him.

The Argentinian legend had lots of gestures that showed he never forgot where was he coming from, and driving that Fiat was one of them. He used it until it got too old. A collectior repaired the and kept it. He wanted to meet Maradona, but could not do that. Diego would have been very happy to see that car in good conditions again.
